I’m not generally one to let a challenge go, so when I got an email Tuesday morning that the Hillside Festival asking me whether I could silkscreen a bunch of bandanas, I couldn’t refuse. They had a thousand to screen but knowing the time crunch (I wouldn’t get the blank bandanas until Wednesday, and the festival was starting on Friday), “a many as I could” would be alright.
I started work on Tuesday night, coating a screen with emulsion and I shot it on my light table Wednesday morning.
I picked up the bandanas Wednesday morning and started to work.
Since I had a bunch of design work to do, I only screened for a couple hours during the day Wednesday, then came back in that evening for another few hours.
In total 450 were done!
