HREO (Human Rights & Equity Office – University of Guelph)

client:HREO (University of Guelph)
Project: Rebranding

This past winter, we had the pleasure of working with the Human Rights & Equity Office on campus to develop new branding and identity. A new main logo was develop as well as secondary icons, background graphics and colour palette. Our colours were developed with “warm and welcoming” in mind, as well with developing the icons, we wanted to ensure it appeared positive and especially for “accommodating holy days” we wanted to ensure we didn’t highlight one religion over the others. With the branding in-place, the look was applied to creating a large presentation banner, as well as anti-sexual harassment awareness posters.

Hardhat Brewing Company

Client: Hardhat Brewing Company
Project: Branding

Working with this new business, right from the start, we needed to help the micro-brewery develop a name. We went through a variety, but selected, “hardhat” to help represent the engineering background of the founders, while also speaking to the working class, as the brewery expects to open up in Fergus. We used solid, retro colours and construction iconography to develop this eye-catching logo.

Olive My Love

Client: Olive, my love
Project: Branding

We began working with the folks at Olive My Love in developing a name for their business. The name stuck with us because it had a homecooking feeling, with sentiments of love infused within it. With olives being a healthy food, we felt it was a great fit in this puny name. Simple. Classy. Quirky. (labelling for their products were also developed)
